This holistic bodywork method is to liberate the tensions from the body and from the mind. I will experience it also liberates stuck emotions from the body.
The method begins with the practice of physical movements.
The movements gently OPEN, STRETCH and HARMONIZE every 6OO+ muscles in the body.
At first when I practiced the physical movements it was awfully painful!
In the beginning I could not even practice some of them!
I had to visualize!
I could not believe the pain I felt when I gently massaged a muscle!
Over time the pain gradually subsided!
Eventually I would practice the same movements and experience pure pleasure!
We had movements designed to OPEN the muscles.
They allow external energy to come into the body with the use of the movements and the tools used in the movements.
We used tools like a tennis ball, a foam ball, a stick covered with foam, a small cushion, etc.
The movements could be circles with the arms, the legs, rotations of the head, pelvic tilts, leg extensions, explorations of the zero-point (the point with no gravity) with the arm or the leg, side openings, etc.
They also allow the energy located deep in the center of the body to be liberated and come up to the surface of the body.
We had movements designed to STRETCH the muscles.
They always follow an opening movement.
These movements give a direction to the energy just released.
They also allow the energy released to be communicated to the different layers of the body.
The tools used can be the same as for the opening movements.
We had movements designed to HARMONIZE the whole body.
These are equilibrium movements to wrap back up the different muscular layer of the whole body after they have been opened and stretched.
They work at bringing harmony and equilibrium between the left and right sides of the body, between the top and the bottom parts of the body.
They integrate the different hemisphere of the body with the center of the body. They are very soothing.
These require very little tools, if any.
These movements always close a holistic bodywork session.
Every 600+ muscle in my body was visited! Every muscle was visited repeatedly, very gently and slowly, over many years!
Every tension was softened!
This bodywork was like a psychoanalysis of my body.
The body is the unconscious mind.
Practicing bodywork is a time to listen to and liberate the memories and beliefs stored in the body.
The body is a perfect record of the past! Do you know the body does not lie?
